Angola beach

Sunburn

Sizzling white guy

Can you hear the sizzle?

Note,

You are in Africa. Please put on sunblock.

Thank you,
Self

After a night spent turtle-searching, we decided to break up the three-hour drive from Rio Longa to Luanda with a few quick stops. Despite a strong morning sun and plenty of SP30 in our bags, for some idiotic reason none of us put on sunblock that day.

A half hour of midday sun at Miradouro de Lua and an hour on some unnamed beach left us all with red faces, necks and shoulders.

It took Kelli about four months and me about three weeks, but we finally got our first African sunburn.

We are so smrt. SMRT.
