Before arriving in Houston, I had made a silent decision not to use that stereotypical expression.
Within hours of being here—and after getting a black bean burger the size of my head—I had to bite my tongue.
Oh well, sometimes the most hackneyed expression is the most apt. So yes, everything really is bigger in Texas.
